Book Endorsements for A Living Hope

  • When I needed help preaching 1 Peter, I asked Sarah Viggiano Wright. The call to persistent hope and goodness in the face of everyday suffering is a difficult assignment. 1 Peter in particular is harrowing teaching for Christians and a cultural minefield for preachers. Her guidance as a theologian was critical to helping me apply the book concretely. Her insight as a female Christian was essential to helping me do it well. I'm so glad she has made the fruits of her study available to all in this book.

  • Sarah Viggiano Wright offers an honest and realistic devotional, one brave enough to consider hope not as a pollyannish ideal, but against the dark backdrop of our fallen world and its suffering and sorrow. Her skillful study of the Apostle Peter's inspired words will encourage you to trust that when your hopeful feelings waver, the object of your hope does not.
